Meet Neraiah Gabriel: The Whimsical World of a Digital Artist

We’re excited to introduce one of our incredibly talented collaborators, Neraiah Gabriel, also known as Raiah. Neraiah’s journey as a digital artist began seven years ago when a stroke of luck came her way—a tablet she won through a local competition. This prize sparked her creative journey, and ever since, she’s been making waves in the digital art world with her unique and surreal style.

I was inspired by artists like Max Grecke, Rammon, and Gawx. Their work gave me the drive to start creating my own pieces,” Neraiah shares. Her go-to platform for creating is Ibis Paint X, which she highly recommends for any budding digital artists.

From Inspiration to Creation

Creating a digital masterpiece doesn’t happen overnight for Neraiah. It all starts with finding the perfect reference—often a lengthy process that leads her down the Pinterest rabbit hole for more than an hour. After gathering ideas and references, she begins illustrating directly onto her digital canvas. But like many artists, her creative process comes with some quirky moments—such as forgetting to turn on the recording settings halfway through!

I spend hours painting, playing with layer modes, and ensuring the elements in my piece flow cohesively,” she explains. Her process can range from just five hours to two weeks, depending on the complexity of the piece. While it can be frustrating at times, Neraiah always pushes through to deliver art that not only meets her vision but also exceeds her clients’ expectations.

The Tools of Her Trade

Neraiah’s creative toolbox includes Clip Studio Paint, her trusty Huion Kamvas 16 tablet, and a Lenovo laptop. She keeps it simple but effective, and no creation would be complete without some essential survival items—water, the outdoors, and a cozy bed!

Her distinctive style stands out with whimsical lines, gleaming lights, and imaginative characters. “I aim to infuse these surreal, dream-like elements into every project,” Neraiah says. And it’s these unique touches that make her work truly shine.

From Digital to Physical Art

Like many artists, Neraiah wanted to see her designs come to life in physical form. “I was told to find what I love and see how I can earn from it. That’s what drove me to sell my art and skills as merchandise,” she explains. However, transitioning from digital art to physical products wasn’t without its challenges. She learned the importance of communicating clear guidelines to clients to ensure her work’s integrity.

My collaboration with The Orange Juice has given me an online presence where people can see and order my work. I’m excited for where this will take my business!” she says.

The Orange Belle Stickers & What’s Next

Right now, you can check out Neraiah’s The Orange Belle stickers available at The Orange Juice store. These stickers, featuring an original character adorned with oranges, were inspired by our collaboration and Neraiah’s creativity. And that’s just the beginning—there are exciting things on the horizon, including some designs inspired by our beautiful twin island currently in the works.

When asked how it would feel to see her art worn and admired by others, she says, “It would fill my heart with pride.

What’s Next for Neraiah?

Looking ahead, Neraiah is ready to explore new heights in her artistic journey. One of her biggest ambitions is to create high-quality animations for clients. “There’s still much to learn, unlearn, and adapt to, but I’m ready for the journey,” she shares.

To everyone who supports her work—whether it’s through liking, sharing, or purchasing her products—Neraiah has a heartfelt message: “Your support, no matter how simple, inspires artists like me to keep creating and growing. Thank you.
